To honor the memory and legacy of Edward A. Dillon his family and friends have helped establish the
EDWARD A. DILLON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND, INC.

Ed wrote, “I have always believed that the better educated one can become, the more an individual can offer to themselves, their employer and society. Education is the backbone to achieving a successful career.”

Ed was always about being the BEST he could be. This came from his commitment and dedication to his education. Ed was certainly known as a “Champion of Education.” We know it would make Ed proud to know that his family and friends have made funds available to help students with their education. The scholarships are designed for students beginning their college education or furthering their college education. Education opens the door to opportunity and choice.

 

Ed was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. His dear friend, Derek Hanley, owner of Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant in Arlington Heights has arranged an annual fundraiser in honor of Ed. This year, 2013, will mark the 6th Annual Cubs Fundraiser. Please refer to this link for details. It is a spectacular day that you’ll remember and enjoy for years to come.
